Dr. Debby Herbenick, is an associate professor, research fellow and sexual health educator. So when she publishes a study, you know it has to be something interesting…
Dr. Herbenick spent 5 years of her life studying sex and exercise (that’s right, sex AND exercise) and guess what she found?
At least 10% of all people will experience an orgasm while exercise. And not just once — it can happen several times! They won’t be as mind-blowing, but you will get that tingly, OMG feeling that lasts for the same amount of time as if you were having intimate relations.
How would you like that? It can happen to you regardless of your age, how fit you are, or your gender.
We’re sure you’d like to know how to do this, right? Well, it’s all in her book, The Coregasm Workout. But to save you from reading the whole book, here’s the rundown of how to do it. The key is to work on your core.
Dr. Herbenick found that orgasms are more likely to happen when:
- you start off your exercise routine with at least 20 minutes of cardio
- then, immediately follow that cardio with a serious ab workout (no rest in between)
- you’ve reached the point where you don’t know if you can do another crunch or not, so your muscles are seriously fatigued
- you don’t have to be thinking of any naughty thoughts — Dr. Herbenick found that the experience just happens because of a physical thing, and not a mental thing
The number of crunches, hanging knee lifts or other core exercises you do is dependent on your personal fitness level. If you’re fit, you’ll need to do more and if you’re not, you’ll need to do less. The goal is to push your own personal limits, and get to that point of serious fatigue in order to increase your chances of getting a “coregasm”.
We bet you’re looking forward to working out to keep those CoolSculpting results now!
