About Intimalase® Vaginal Tightening Laser
IntimaLase® delivers patented Fotona SMOOTH® laser pulses to the surface of the vagina and vulva. These pulses are specially engineered to produce a mild heating effect, which in turn stimulates the formation of new collagen and strengthens the tissue, giving a firmer and tighter quality. IntimaLase® has been shown to increase sexual pleasure and positively affect the overall quality of life in treated women.
The IntimaLase® treatment works by stimulating the body’s own regenerative potential. Laser pulses are delivered to the tissue in an optimal, patented laser mode that:

The IntimaLase® treatments work by stimulating the body’s own regenerative potential. Laser pulses are delivered to the tissue in an optimal, patented laser mode that produces gentle heat pulses in the vaginal mucosal lining, stimulating the formation of new collagen and strengthening vaginal wall support.
The results have been shown to be stable up to 18 months post-treatment. After this they start to slowly diminish. A maintenance treatment of one session per year is thus advised after the initial series of sessions to achieve lasting optimal results.
In order to achieve the best results, it is recommended that women should abstain from sexual intercourse for a period of between one to two weeks following the IntimaLase® treatment.

IntimaLase treats vaginal issues from childbirth and aging with non-invasive laser therapy. It uses gentle heat to stimulate collagen and strengthen the vaginal wall, addressing laxity, atrophy, and prolapse painlessly.

IntimaLase results are typically effective for at least a year following the treatment. Maintenance treatments can be used every 12 to 18 months to prolong the effects.
IntimaLase is not painful! At most, patients may feel a small amount of mild heat towards the end of the treatment, which is generally very well tolerated by the body.
Most patients achieve noticeable results within one month of receiving three IntimaLase sessions. The body will create new collagen within the vaginal walls which will tighten the vaginal canal and opening, rebuild the lining, and restore natural lubrication. It takes about six to eight months for full collagen to be produced in the body.
One IntimaLase treatment session typically takes between 20 and 30 minutes.
There are no post-op precautions that are necessary. Patients can immediately return to their normal everyday activities, however it is recommended that patients should abstain from sexual intercourse for 1-2 weeks following the treatment. It is also recommended to abstain from heavy-lifting and long periods of exercise for up to 14 days.
IntimaLase results are semi-permanent; results have shown to be stable for up to 18 months post-treatment, when they begin to slowly diminish. Patients will only need a top-up treatment every 12-18 months (or when needed) to maintain the lasting optimal results.
