Recovery time from a Redensity 2 under-eye or tear trough treatment is minimal. Patients may experience subtle bruising and swelling underneath the eyes which may last for up to 2 weeks. Swelling will decrease in the days following your initial treatment with optimal result becoming apparent 2 weeks after treatment. To decrease the possibility of bruising, Skin Vitality Medical Clinic recommends refraining from use of any blood-thinning medications/ supplements or anti-coagulants such as aspirin, vitamin E, alcohol and/or ginseng for 24 to 48 hours prior to your treatment.
How long will the results of a Redensity 2 treatment last?
Redensity 2 results last for between 9 months to 1 year, depending on your metabolism and other external factors. Most patients return for maintenance treatments between 6 to 9 months to sustain optimal results.
