What You’ll Need (Yields Two Tacos):
- ½ Cup Chopped Onions
- ½ Cup Chopped Plum Tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp Lime Juice
- 1 Ideal Protein Vegetable Chili
- 1 Ideal Protein Pancake Mix
- 1 Tsp of Ideal Salt
- 1 Tsp of Adobo (optional)
- ¼ Tsp. or Pinch of Garlic Powder
- 1 Pinch of Cilantro or Parsley
- 1 Tbsp of Walden Farms Ranch Dressing
- Shredded Ice Berg Lettuce
- ½ a Chopped Avocado
How to Make Your Ideal Protein Tacos:
You’ll start by mixing the Ideal Protein packet with the adobo and make the mixture into 2 thin tortilla shapes, and then set them aside while you continue your meal preparation. Then, mix the Ideal Protein Vegetable Chili and add a pinch of garlic powder before microwaving for 2 minutes. While this is heating, chop the tomatoes ad onions.
To make the salsa, mix the tomatoes with the onions, lime juice, sea salt and cilantro or parsley. Mix the heated vegetable chili with the salsa and divide into two portions; this will be the filling of each taco.
Place the tortilla on a plate and fill with the chilli salsa, Walden Farms Ranch dressing and top with some fresh, crunchy Ice Berg lettuce and avocado if preferred. Close the taco and voila! You have some delicious tacos to enjoy.
