A doctor who performs injectable filler and Botox treatments has discovered the next solid market for these nonsurgical treatments: poker players! Dubbed “Pokertox”, frequent Botox and filler injections are administered to enhance the poker face of patients who regularly play Poker. To make the treatments effective, the doctor has to first find out what the “tells” of his player patients are. For example, if the tell is a slight raise of the eyebrows upon receiving a good card, then Botox can be administered to the area to weaken the muscles controlling the brows, making them less active.
On the other hand, Botox can also be administered to areas that can enhance a fake tell, so opponents get confused.
