Looking younger and more vibrant isn’t just about getting a few Botox and other anti-aging treatments – it’s about being healthier inside, too. When you’re healthier, you already know that your appearance benefits.

Here are some tips that can help you reshape your life in a positive way.

1. Think positively.

Stop looking at things negatively, thinking everyone is against you, and not believing in your abilities. A pessimistic attitude is stressful, and we all know that stress is bad for you.

2. Get off your butt.

Don’t be a victim to obesity, cardiovascular diseases and other diseases caused by a sedentary lifestyle. Get off your butt and get physical. Research has shown that you don’t need hours at the gym to achieve this, either. If you want to be efficient, consider high-intensity interval training (HIIT) for 15 minutes a day.

3. Eat well.

Even if you’re a weightlifter or professional athlete, a bad diet can still make you unhealthy. Limit your intake of ,junk food, fast food or processed food.

4. Face your challenges.

Do you give up easily? Do you always have excuses as to why you can’t or shouldn’t do something? Do you not even try? Challenges help you grow as a person, making you stronger and better. Embrace them as an opportunity to the person you want to be.

5. It’s okay to take baby steps.

There’s no need to make a drastic change because it’ll probably be harder to do and stick to. For example, if you want to lose weight, you don’t have to cut out sugar all together. Start by decreasing the amount of sugar you put in your coffee, for example. As your tastebuds adjust, you’ll find it easier to decrease it even more. Baby steps are okay, as long as they’re always going forward.
